But this year, as demonstrations across the Middle East have actually risen the cost of oil, the problem of discovering alternative sources of fuel has come into .
In a region that has one of the highest carbon footprints worldwide, one company is benefiting from the growing pressure to discover alternatives to oil. It's set up the Middle East's very first plan to recycle cooking oil into biodiesel. It's showing successful too, already their client-list contains McDonald's.
